Time Study Engineer (“the App”) is published by Vijay Gurav (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information the App handles and how.

Summary

• Your time study data stays on your device unless you choose to export or share it.
• We do not require an account, login, or email to use the App.
• We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage statistics to improve the App.
• We do not sell your personal information.

Information stored on your device

The App saves your time studies, tasks, timers, and related settings locally on your phone or tablet using on-device storage (for example, browser local storage inside the app container). This data is not uploaded to our servers and is not accessible to us.

If you delete the App or clear app data, locally stored studies may be removed. Uninstalling the App does not send your study content to us.

Information you choose to share

If you export or share a report (PDF, CSV, or email), that action uses your device’s normal share features. We do not receive the content you share unless you send it to us directly (for example, by email).

Analytics (Firebase)

We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the App is used — for example, app opens, studies started or saved, exports, and similar events. This helps us fix problems and improve features.

Analytics data may include, for example:

• App interaction events (such as study started, study saved, export PDF)
• Device or app instance identifiers used for analytics
• General device information (device model, OS version)
• Approximate region or country derived from network information

We do not intentionally send your study names, task details, or personal notes through analytics. Analytics is configured without advertising ID collection where supported on your platform.

Force update check

The App may contact a small configuration file hosted on our website to determine whether a required update is available. This request does not include your study data.

Children

The App is intended for professional and industrial engineering use and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data retention

• On-device studies: kept until you delete them or remove the App.
• Analytics: retained according to Google Firebase / Google Analytics settings.

Your choices

• You can stop using the App at any time and delete it to remove local data.
• You can limit analytics collection through your device or platform settings where available.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
